Grace and Race

Led by Joel and Tia Gaines

Risen Hope’s GRACE and Race Fellowship is helping our church discover understanding, empathy, and mutual commitment in love across the ethnic lines that normally divide. Joel and Tia work closely with our pastoral team to develop strategies for conversation (called Grace and Race Conversations), and to help us build into one another with humility and grace.

Youth Ministry

Led by Rick Butler

Risen Youth is our growing youth ministry based on Paul’s words in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes: to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” We meet twice a month to help our teens and pre-teens to understand the gospel and live in a way that is defined by its power. Our primary youth discipleship model is the parent-youth relationship. Because of this, we meet as both parents and youth to help equip us as disciples.

Risen Women Ministry

Led by RW Leadership Team

Jae Butler, Becky Davis, Dannet Mitchell, Lori Sheppard, and Gayline Shorey

Risen Women is designed to provide effective ministry for women by providing opportunities to go deep in relationship with God and each other.  Knowing and being known is the heartbeat of  Risen Women.   This knowing takes on a vertical direction as Risen Women grow together in their understanding of God’s word, their identity in Christ, and their place in this world.  This knowing also takes on a horizontal direction as we seek to know and be known as sisters in Christ.  We make efforts to help women in their understanding of God’s Word and to serve one another and the church with grace, wisdom, and strength. To assist us in these goals we offer a mentoring ministry, personal and confidential prayer ministry, as well as fellowship, teaching and special events throughout the year.

Workforce Believers

Led by Dave Estornell

Over a period of several weeks, we meet for a book study and share thoughts, challenges, and perspectives on living as disciples in the workplace. This study is open to all adults: those who are working, have worked, or plan to work in any shape or form. Looking to Scripture for wisdom, strength and hope, this study group is a source of mutual encouragement, prayer, and fellowship for one another. The format is casual, and people can drop in or leave early if needed.

For information about our current study, please check our calendar.
